I'm Alexandra
I'm a Canadian photographer based on Vancouver Island, drawn to wild places, natural light, love, and human connection.
I've always been someone who feels things deeply. I notice the little things — the way people reach for each other without thinking, the laughter between the poses, the wind in someone's hair, and the quiet moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.
That's what I love about photography.
I create photographs that feel alive — honest, intimate images that hold onto who you are, who you love, and what this season of your life felt like.
Wild Souls is the next chapter of a story that began with Riske Photography, built alongside my fiancé, Rob. The years we spent creating together helped shape the artist I am today, and he'll always be part of the story that brought me here.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me near the ocean with my dog, meditating, cooking, watching rom-coms with homemade popcorn, or planning my next adventure.
